Tyler joined the Visionaries of the Year campaign in honor of his grandfather Attilio, affectionately known as “T”, who departed from blood cancer when Tyler was a boy. T’s spirit as a builder lives on in his grandson, who with a massive heart, a gentle touch and able hands, builds projects, teams, companies and people. Tyler is honored to dedicate his Visionaries work to T.
Big things seem impossible before they actually happen.
The unique and novel ways Team Attilio will raise funds are as follows.
Through For Granted, authoring free and unsolicited grants for cancer-related non-profits whose missions we love and values we share. To raise friends more than funds. If you are a non-profit that receives a written grant from us, you can refine, perfect and send it as-is as our gift to you; you could consider a contribution to our Visionaries of the Year efforts here; and/or if you’re interested in more where that came from, reach us at our For Granted emails at the bottom of this page.
In partnership with Spectacular Performances & Events and their forthcoming FundStuff initiative: if you give $50.00 before April 24 via Team Attilio's page at the Give button above, you get to pick one of the three 16” beautiful teddies below. We'll stuff it for you, and implant a heart that will contain the name of a person you love and specify that overcame cancer, or in whose memory the bear will sit (just send us a screenshot of your donation of $50 or more and the name of the person being honored). The Teddy threshold increases to $100.00 on April 25, 2026.
Because curing cancer is hard, it requires the outfit of the hardest working men and women in the world. We’re giving away a His & Hers Carhartt new clothing basket, valued at over $500.00. Here is how you enter: a) you can straight up buy a $20.00 raffle ticket from us for one entry (which we’ll collect and donate to Blood Cancer United); b) you give the same $20.00 directly via the Give button above and send us a screenshot, and we’ll give you TWO entries, which is a better value (we’ll give you one entry for every ten dollars you give up to $40/4 entries); c) but if you want the BEST value, give $50.00, and that gets you TEN (10) entries for the Carhartt basket AND the teddy of your choice. You’ll get the same package for every $50.00 you give. This is a His & Hers basket, but worry not…you need not have another to enjoy the basket. Because all items are brand new with tags and are fully exchangeable at the Westlake, Ohio, or Fairlawn, Ohio, stores for the value on the tag. So you could get exactly what you want, keep it all for yourself, or parse it into your next ten re-gifts. If you aren’t local, we can reshop the whole thing, so long as your desired items are on-location in store. Large is the size of all items in the basket.
A 29-year blood cancer survivor, Shane has dedicated that bonus time to support, advocating and raising money for families touched by cancer. His dedication includes a former longtime board membership with a pediatric cancer foundation, an oncofertility patient advocacy, gifting for an oncology prom, a stint teaching AI for Business that helped the legendary Beachwood Marketing Junior Achievement program raise over $230,000 for support dogs for critically ill children, and currently serves as a Cleveland Clinic volunteer, shaping AYA programming in this cancer space. He is honored to be Tyler's teammate in Visionaries of the Year.
The dearest of friends, partners in countless causes and Co-Founders of For Granted, Tyler's and Shane's unique and eclectic backgrounds and experiences unite to bring simplicity, creativity, love and deep connection to everyone they befriend. They are easy to do business with, do hard things well, and make big things possible.
With your help and support of Tyler and Shane on Team Attilio, Blood Cancer United can proclaim those seven words to many, for many years to come.
